THE TROUBLE IS TEMPORARY The trouble is temporary. We all face difficulties that don’t look like they’ll ever change. It seems like the more we pray the worse it gets. It’s easy to live discouraged and accept that is not meant to be, but our troubles are small and won't last long. No one intends to write cancer into their life story – and it’s not easy news for anyone to hear. It is likely to challenge you physically, mentally, and emotionally, but it won’t take your hat away. You are still you, and you’ll always remain the same. Mama, it's been six years since you diagnosed with breast cancer, and it still feels like a nightmare. Even after all the doctor appointments, it doesn't seem real. I'm looking at you as I write this, and I can see how much has changed since you diagnosed with cancer.
